Scope and Contents
The donor notes that the badge was worn by his great-uncle, Dale Russell. Russell worked in the Columbia River Gorge (near Multnomah Falls) as a park ranger and was associated with both the county parks program and the sheriff's office. He worked in the 1930's. The badge was given to the donor, Dick Steintz. in the late 1950's and he soldered a pin on to the back and wore it on his shirt as a youth.
