Scope and Contents This collection documents part of the service of Beverly Stein as Multnomah County Chair. Stein was appointed in April, 1993 to fill the unexpired term of Gladys McCoy who died in office. Stein served until March, 2001 when she resigned to run in the 2001 gubernatorial primary.
