Scope and Contents
Winged Scourge was created by Disney Productions on commission from the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs (CIAA) as part of a wartime effort to introduce Central and South American audiences to Allied countries and to counter Axis propoganda. This was the only film to use Disney characters. Is was created to help diminish the spread of malaria by mosquitoes.
